Raffle for BBQ, helping United Way
At Stittsville Royal Bank
November 17, 2008

Win a barbecue and help out the United Way at the same time. What a winning combination!

This is what is happening at the Royal Bank in Stittsville thanks in large part to the generosity of Doug Kazda of the Richmond Home Hardware and Building Centre who has donated a new barbecue as the prize for a fundraising raffle.

The Royal Bank each year conducts a fundraising event for the United Way and this year it is this raffle for a barbecue. Tickets for the raffle are now on sale at the Royal Bank branch on Stittsville Main Street, with one ticket for two dollars or three tickets for five dollars. Since the barbecue has been donated by Mr. Kazda, all of the proceeds will be able to be directed to the United Way.

The draw itself will be taking place on Friday, December 5.

All 24 branches of the Royal Bank in the Ottawa area are doing a fundraising activity for the United Way.
